Well just a fast recap of what happened last week. Finally met up with lovely K for a nice dinner and a long talk till we forgot about time. Seems like my memory is failing me cause there's lots of things that I can't seem to recall, I think old liao haha. I guess it's what people know as selective memory, remembering only certain things and forgetting some which you might wanna hide away from haha. Anyway it was like really hard to get to meet each other...guess just too busy. Ya people always use this as a reason...busy lah, too much work lah. Although there's lots of work, I think we should still try to find time to accompany our close ones and friends. Yes and that's what I did during the long weekend.

Let me see, I started my Thursday evening celebrating J's mom birthday at No signboard restaurant...hmmm bill came up to $300 but the food wasn't very much to my liking though or maybe my mood was kinda affected. But I still see lots of people pouring in leh, maybe I don't know how to appreciate good stuff haha. After that, her family left; then J and me went to Railway Mall for a drink before proceeding home.

Friday. Went to JE to catch MI III, pretty nice show and the tickets were compliments from my good brother. Had a simple curry chicken dinner at the foodcourt. So friday was pretty simple and past pretty quickly.

Saturday. Went out at 3pm to Kbox with J and sang till 7pm. Thereafter, met my band of brothers who I have not seen for a long time or should I say have not hung out in a big group for a long time. We couldn't think of any reason why we met up because everytime we met up for a purpose like birthdays or special occasions. So I guess this time we met up either to celebrate Vesak Day or Mother's Day haha. After dinner at Chongqing steamboat, we went to a ktv pub located at Temple Street. Then started drinking, singing and playing pool, haizzz...talk about pool so sad..win 2 guys in the end lose to a girl haha. Girls nowadays are not to be belittled haha. Then we started playing the stupid games we always play and in the end, we managed to finish the whole bottle of Chivas before we left for home. So nice to catch up with them again.

Sunday. Mother's Day...yeah Happy Mother's day. Bought a simple SK pendant for my Mom and we booked a table for dinner at the Soup Restaurant. The food seems easier to finish compared to the time when we were having our Chinese New Year Eve dinner there. This time round we managed to finish everything in half an hour. Super fast hor.

So that's how I spent my long weekend which I find pretty well spent. I had a chance to spend time with my close ones and my friends though not all but at least some. So those who are so busy and no time to meet me, stop finding excuses. A person will always be busy, it's a matter of how you make time out for your friends. So grab a phone and call me now...hehe :)

Well, kinda like getting use to the new workplace. Though not very use to the 'few' people in the office. And to think that there are so few people in the office, there's still politics going on...kaoz. Let's not go into politics...too tough for me to swallow. Hmmm talking about politics, tomorrow is polling day, but me so sad still no chance to vote. I think my area too wulu, so no one wanna come and fight...or maybe the party here is very strong and no one dares to come...hmmm better don't comment too much on politics, stay away from it safer. I chicken little...'help help the sky is falling'.

Anyway, there's lots of free play in my current job. I'm basically left to do what I think I should do, so pretty much leeway. That makes me wonder why I'm still working till almost 8+ everyday. Maybe I'm hoping that efforts put in will equal rewards received.

Since I started working, bumped into a few friends who seemed to be working in town too. Today, I bumped into 'S' in the train. She's supposed to be staying just a few block away from me but we seldom bump into each other. So coincidentally, bumped into her today and learnt that she has just tendered her resignation not long ago too and joining a new company next week. Guess the bug for resigning is spreading out there...till now, I have at least 3 friends who just resigned, not inclusive of myself. I guess everyone is looking for opportunities that's around and really grabbing on to it when it comes along. All seem to get better pay when they job hop, but not for me leh...haiz, haha don't say liao.

Ya my godson had his 1 month celebration on Monday, aiyoh so cute but this time round never take photo. I think must start help him do a life story website haha, but prior to that must seek permission from Mr & Mrs Multi hehe. Managed to catch up with some of the guys when I was there, pretty much the same but can't seem to get use to the decent look that 'city' is having, haha. Too decent for him liao leh...but look smarter that way lah.

Happy voting tomorrow :)
