Yeah back from Genting liaoHow time flies...5 years liao
2nd time we went to Genting since 2002
Surprising this time round didn't lose money
Didn't win much too though
But at least we lasted inside the casino
Stayed there from 11pm to 6am in the morning
Never lose money somemore...
Somehow feel good that I finally didn't lose money in the casino
Previous occasion when we went,
we would only last 2 to 3 hours inside and after that all is dry
So this trip didn't waste so much
Rest & relax trip
Yeah today actual day
The past few days already seen a big hole in my pocket
So what more today...
Just meeting up for a 2 hour dinner costed $120...kaka
One of the reason why the meetup was so short
Because today 7th month 1st day
Better go home early
So most of the celebrations brought forward,
except for the dinner.
Taste Paradise, does it ring a bell.
Yes, I had dinner there.
Nice ambience among the shophouses located along Mosque St
Food is great too, let see what we ate.
First on the list is the appetizer,
seaweed with mushrooms, prawns & scallops.
2nd dish was panfried foie gras with baby abalone,
ohhh the sauce is marvellous.
3rd dish was lamb...didn't like it in the past,
but today's lamb meat tasted good.
The sauce seems to have covered the smell of it.
4th dish was cod fish.
The cod just simply melted the moment it entered my mouth,
and the tasty sauce topped with shrimp roe...wahhh
5th dish was beehoon,
Even the beehoon seems tasty.
And last but not least mango sago ice cream.
Well it is pretty reasonably priced if you rate it accordingly to the standard of the food.
However, it seems a bit steep in an area like Chinatown.
Did I forget to mention...
Moses Lim happened to be there with some reporters
Think he was invited to provide his valuable comments for the food there.
Therefore overall damage...haiz decided not to count
Scare later bang my head on the wall kaka.
As long as money spent is worth,
then it is worth spending...*blink blink*

Just one outing and i burnt a big hole in my pocket.One small bag and it costed me close to 800 bucks...arghhh
Well I got something in return though but it was less than 1/2 of the above cost.
*sob sob* But haha it was worth the money to see a smile on her face.
But darn it was the first time I bought a bag for that amount...kaoz.
The heart majam pierced by a thousand needles.
But the real pain came when her friend say she has 25% discount for the shop.
Arghhhh...I felt like i have just fallen into a bottomless pit.
Took home and examine the bag...
Wasn't gold plated inside...
but at least it smell of leather.
Some kind of consolation i guess.
The thing that i got in return is a Briefcase...
Also don't understand why the briefcase so expensive.
Than I realized something...
Both smelled of leather...
Maybe leather price getting more expensive kaoz...
Stufix...
Anyway I liked the briefcase lah.
Took some pictures to assure myself that it was money worth spending.
But 5 year liao, so these presents should be just adequate lah hor...

Complains, complains & complains...Just these 2 days alone, I spent $42.50 on cab fare.
Darn and it's just for 2 trips.
The first one was probably due to the long distance.
From Paya Lebar to Jurong.
But the second one is from my house to City Hall,
which I used to pay less than $15 for...
I had to pay $20 for the trip yesterday with all the increase in surcharge.
I boarded the cab with a surcharge of $2,
then ERP gantry kanna $3.
Reach there $15, total fare $20...
That was the amount I used to pay for taking a cab from Pasir Ris to Jurong.
I just feel that taxi fares are getting more and more expensive,
I think the fare would one day grow to the standard of Japan's cab.
After some consideration, it might be more worth getting a car,
provided oil prices, ie. petrol prices stopped rising.
But that virtually seems impossible with the stupid attacks going on
and with the oil prices just reaching record high of $78.40.
Can bang head on the wall again,
cause just when i picked up confidence to enter the bloody market.
The oil prices went up and cause the market to fall.

So what's up for the week.Hmmm went to JB for makan.
Yeah, with my brothers & sis.
Food was absolutely fantastic,
5 dishes in total,
Mini 'Xiang Ba Bang', Vegetable,
Pepper crab, Lala & Lobster...
After dinner, it seems that the guys didn't have their fill.
So we proceeded to have the King of fruits,
Durians!
I have never tasted such delicious durians before.
Probably because I always got those 3 for $10 type.
We bought a total of 4 durians which costed around RM$100.
The seller told us that 2 were normal ones and the other 2 were XO 'Zheng' ones,
He ask us to finish the normal ones before trying the XO ones.
After trying the normal ones, I thought I ate the wrong ones,
Cause they tasted pretty good liao...
But when I tried the XO ones...omg the taste *Fabulous*
So out of this world.
The smell lingered on my fingers till today.
Not because i didn't wash my hands,
I scrubbed it real hard ok.
Just when I though we had our fill,
they suggested to have Stingray.
Wah their stomach seems to be able to contain a lot
Finally we made our way back after the stingray
with an additional load and a smile on the face.

Done some catching up todayAte at Swensons...
Can't recall when was the last time I ate there
Food still tastes the same
But menu changed
No changes in the variety of food though
Still like crayfish pasta the most...slurps
Thought I don't have to be activated during weekends
But @#$ was I wrong...
Got activated back to office on Saturday due to alarm activation
*Grumbles* Security of office is now all mine...haha

What a day...cutting my hair after work and eventually or should I say finally pushed myself to go jogging at 9.30pm. I can't even recall when was the last time I went jogging. Before I went, I decided to drag my meimei along with me. It proved to be a good catching up with my mei on what she has been doing lately and also the grumbles that she had due to the fact that I dragged her along for a jog.We kinda like spend only 40mins jogging and another 20mins at 2 different exercise corners. I wanted to go to an exercise corner with pull-up bars and stuff to train up and mei wanted to go to those new kind of exercise corner whereby they have those funny funny exercise equipment.
Eventually when we finished jogging and exercising at my intended exercise corner, mei dragged me to the funny funny exercise corner. Prior to that, she still wanna play with the swing haha I guess mei a bit deprived of childhood memories loh. How worse can it get...Well when we reached the funny exercise corner and cool down for a while, mei dragged me to play SEE-SAW with her loh haha. Which made me think back; when I was young, did I ever play see-saw with mei before? Can't recall liao, anyway so paiseh 2 adults sit on the see-saw haiz. But I could see mei grinning from ear to ear and she was really happy so I just played along loh haha...long long time malu once nevermind. Just worried someone captured it on video and send to press then i become the famous 'see-saw man' overnight.
Nevertheless, it was still a good jog, something that I wanted to do but was too lazy to do. I realised that jogging creates an opportunity for family bonding and stuff to relive your childhood days kaka...
