Is September a very good month for weddings??? I've received 4 red 'letters' this month...haiz wah lau eh burn one hole in my pocket liao haha. Like that already eat into 1/4 of my pay liao. But it's wonderful to see people tying their knots, settling down and starting their own families. It makes you start wondering when it'll be your turn....haha.One of those red 'letters' I've received is from my brother. He's considered to be one of the first in the 'band of brothers' to settle down. So surprised hor, all of them was expecting me to be the first haha...too bad they were disappointed. But it's nice to see all brothers attending and offering help all the occasion. Although it was a busy day for them, but they were at all smiles when the event ended.
Heard so much from those who got married, things like must plan early lah, plan in advance so that things won't be so much of a rush. Then the aunties would say 'Time to get married and settle down lah, you're not young anymore'...aiyoh headache ah...haha.
There's this joke that goes:
Wedding dinners are always places where aunties say the same old thing when they see you.
'Boy ah, when will it be your turn?'
But the aunties soon stop saying that when I started saying the same thing back to them whenever we attended........
'Funeral Wakes'......hehe
