Leaving
On a month like this,
a young man sets to embark
on a next journey.
His heart was heavy,
and he was sad.
For he knew the time has come
to leave this Heaven and
return to the far lonely world
elsewhere.
Unsettling feeling in his heart,
a kind of feeling longing to stay back
forever.
A kind of familiar loneliness
that he was acquainted with,
comes to him again.
And he sighed, contemplatively, forlornly,
hoping again to stay in this indeterminate state
of joy and belonging forever.
'Oh no, I'm really leaving', he murmured,
hot tears threatening to well in his eyes.
Bravely, he forced a smile at his dear friends.
Without much of a second look,
he bid them farewell.
Back in the abode,
the guy sat,with eyes closed,
remembrance of those wonderful
and fond memories he left behind,
and those sweet voices
and carefree laughter
that accompanied every single image
that went fleeting pass.
Unconsciously, a faint smile ghosted at his mouth.
'I'll see them again soon.'
'Take care, my dear friends.'
'We'll meet again.'

hey, u can still meet them when u're free mah.. so near ur place only. dun despair, though u've chosen to take on a new route, true frenz will still stay ard ;)

hahaha... wellwell, All good things will come to an end, its just a matter of time. Some chose to stay on.. some chose to leave!
But like Jer says, u still can keep in touch with them, so dun worry, M4 matches will still include u rite? heehee ;)
Whateva it is, U wrote a wonderful poetry there with real and moving feelings which touches deep in my heart.
If next time, u hv free time, u may want to venture into Singing as well as Writing since u can do so well in these two! ;)
